Bennu bird makes sure the sun rises and sets each day. His little friends are there to keep bennu in good spirits for his long climb up the ladder each morning. Without him, there would be no tomorrow.

The large white bird is a heron/bennu (Egyptian version of a Phoenix). The black sun is the sunset and the white sun is the sunrise.

It's been awhile since I did a painting directly on wood with no newspaper collage, but it was time for a change.
