Moon salamander awakes for the full moon. All the animals gather to have their fortunes told by the moon salamander. Moon salamander has an offbeat sense of humor and often tells the animals their prosperous fortunes, in addition to fictitious misfortunes. He tells one head of the two-headed giraffe that the other head is out to get him. When the full moon ends, moon salamander goes back to sleep until the next full moon.

Found pieces of wood are my favorite material to paint on. I found this wood cutting board down the street from where I live. I especially like all the cracks along the top and bottom.
