I had a bunch of trash sitting on my desk and decided to see what I could make out of it. The rectangular pieces of paper were cut out of my old college Physics book. I used watercolor to make them more interesting. The last piece in the second row is some scrap copper with wood splinters glued to it. The black strip on the right is electrical tape and barcode. The clear plastic box, was some kind of packaging. Inside the box is some tape from an old cassette tape. The white piece of paper has some temperature calculations I had done for work. The skull & legs were cut out of an art auction catalog. It is Maurizio Cattelan's "Love Lasts Forever". I thought the skeleton was a dinosaur, which inspired the title. Years later I learned the skeleton was actually a donkey. That is a dog, cat and rooster on top of the donkey.

In the lower right corner is a 1/4" audio phone jack. I added the nail, then thought of a keyholder, so I painted in the key. To the left of the key is the word "Kava". Kava is a plant, commonly grown in the pacific islands and other places. If you smash the roots and mix with water, it makes an awful tasting drink, but it has a really nice relaxing effect on the body & mind. I had tried some during a recent trip to Fiji. There was no specific reason for the red paint. It just seemed like it needed some red.
